The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 combines a Four Thirds image sensor with Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science to produce detailed UHD 4K images with accurate color reproduction and 13 stops of dynamic range.
Its active Micro Four Thirds lens mount supports a wide selection of compatible lenses, with electronic control of supported lens functions.
Dual Native ISO for Low-Light Production
Dual native ISO settings of 400 and 3200 help optimize image quality across different lighting conditions. The camera supports an ISO range from 100 to 25,600, allowing greater flexibility for studio lighting, indoor events, and low-light productions.
Professional 12G-SDI and HDMI Connectivity
The camera features a 12G-SDI output for high-quality video transmission and a dedicated 12G-SDI program return input. With compatible Blackmagic ATEM switchers, the SDI connection supports camera control, tally, and talkback functions.
An HDMI output provides connectivity with compatible HDMI switchers, including ATEM Mini systems, supporting video transmission and compatible camera control functions.
10G Ethernet Studio Workflow
Built-in 10 Gigabit Ethernet enables an integrated studio connection for video, program return, camera control, tally, talkback, and power when used with compatible equipment such as the optional Blackmagic Studio Converter.

Built-In Live Streaming
The Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 includes an integrated H.264 streaming encoder for live transmission over Ethernet. Compatible mobile network tethering can also be used through USB-C.
When paired with a compatible ATEM Streaming Bridge, the camera can participate in remote production workflows, including return video and supported camera control functions.
7-Inch HDR Touchscreen Viewfinder
The large 7-inch touchscreen provides convenient monitoring, framing, and camera configuration. Built-in monitoring tools include histogram, focus peaking, frame guides, status overlays, and support for 3D LUT monitoring.
Physical controls and assignable function buttons provide quick access to frequently used production settings.
Blackmagic RAW Recording
Record high-quality Blackmagic RAW footage directly to compatible external USB-C storage devices. Blackmagic RAW preserves extensive image information and camera metadata, providing flexibility for color grading and post-production in DaVinci Resolve.
External recording media is sold separately.
Professional Audio and Talkback
Two balanced XLR audio inputs with 48V phantom power support professional microphones and audio sources. Additional audio connections include a 3.5mm microphone input and headset connectivity.
The dedicated 5-pin XLR talkback interface allows camera operators to communicate with production personnel when used with compatible studio systems.
