Live Production Performance

Moreover, 12 dedicated 12G-SDI outputs provide flexible routing to recorders, monitors, and transmission systems, while the USB-C webcam output enables direct streaming to computers.

Advanced Switching and Effects
Beyond basic cuts, the ATEM 2 M/E Constellation offers professional broadcast transitions such as mix, dip, wipe, and DVE effects. Additionally, multiple upstream and downstream keyers allow layering of graphics, lower thirds, and chroma keys. As a result, productions look polished without external processing.
Furthermore, the built-in SuperSource processor adds multiple DVE layers and backgrounds. This makes it easier to create picture-in-picture layouts, interview frames, and multi-box compositions directly inside the switcher.
Integrated Audio and Communication
Audio control is handled by the internal Fairlight mixer. In practice, this lets you mix audio from all SDI sources with professional tools inside the same interface. At the same time, the built-in talkback system with 5-pin XLR and RJ12 connections improves communication between camera operators and the production team.
