The Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K Cinema Box Camera combines a full-frame 6K HDR sensor with a flexible box-style design and a professional ARRI PL lens mount, making it an excellent choice for cinema, commercial production, documentary filmmaking, and advanced multi-camera workflows.
Its 36 x 24mm full-frame sensor captures up to 6048 x 4032 resolution, with 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO of 400 and 3200. The PYXIS 6K PL is designed to give filmmakers the freedom to build a customized camera rig around their specific production requirements.
Full-Frame 6K Cinema Image
The PYXIS 6K features a 36 x 24mm full-frame HDR sensor with a resolution of 6048 x 4032. The large sensor provides a cinematic field of view and allows filmmakers to achieve shallow depth of field when paired with suitable lenses.
With 13 stops of dynamic range, the camera is designed to preserve detail in both highlights and shadows, providing greater flexibility during color grading and post-production.
