Description
The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Mini Recorder 12G is a compact video capture interface that connects SDI or HDMI video sources to a computer through Thunderbolt 4. It allows you to capture or stream video from compatible cameras and other video sources using your computer.
12G-SDI and HDMI Capture
The UltraStudio Mini Recorder 12G features one 12G-SDI input and one HDMI 2.0 input. It supports video resolutions up to UHD 4K60 through either input, providing flexibility for different production setups. A 12G-SDI loop output is also available for routing the incoming SDI signal to another device.
Video Quality and Format Support
The device supports uncompressed and compressed 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV and 4:4:4 RGB video, along with supported 8-bit and 12-bit formats. It handles video resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 and 3840 × 2160 at frame rates up to 60 fps. HDR support and embedded HDMI/SDI audio are also specified.
